2024 News Update

Fettle Christmas.jpgSorry that you who check my page have been disappointed with the lack of updates. We have lost many friends since then including our dear Wallace and the deerhounds. Gretna was the last at 12 and we miss her every day on our walks.

Covid put a damper on dogs shows! Also since vets were restricted we had few litters. Now that things are more of less back to normal the shows and puppies have returned.

In 2022 we showed a young girl, Penny  to her championship. so she is now

Ch.Windacre a Penny for Your thoughts.

The same year, her half sister, Fettle began her puppy career. She loved to show and her first weekend at 6 months she received 7 of the required points to be a champion. Next show she became Ch.! Her puppy career ended with 11116 best puppy in groups and a best puppy in show all breeds. On her first birthday she qualified to become a grand champion. 2023 she headed south to USA for some shows with Jen Knudsen and Fano. She had to place in the terrier group to get points as westie competition was sparse. She received many placements and quickly became an American champion. She finished the year as #2 westie behind a lovely male who was #1 all breeds. Shee is taking some time off and hoping to have a litter.

We have some young girls to show this year so I will try and keep you posted!
